Welcome to the Academic Publishing Support Seminar at the US Naval War College.
The Naval War College hosts one of the largest groups of security studies scholars in the country, and this group is here to support networking and academic publishing within our inter-disciplinary field. We include Historians, Philosophers, Political Scientists, International Relations scholars, Area Studies scholars, war gamers, and more.
We meet generally on first Wednesdays to share research, get feedback, and hear from those with experience in different aspects of the world of academic publishing,and on third Wednesdays to socialize and share ideas more informally. We encourage attendance from both senior and junior faculty, and seek to foster mentoring relationships as well as peer-to-peer writing and publishing support.
